Intercultural Volunteering for All — 2023
A European Solidarity Corps group-volunteering activity run by IAFA in Barcelos (22 April – 12 May 2023), bringing together 10 volunteers — five French and five Portuguese.
Volunteers took part in the local celebrations of April 25 (Freedom Day) and helped prepare the Festa das Cruzes, the traditional pilgrimage held in Barcelos in the first week of May, assisting with the logistics of the commemorative parachute jumps by the Vale d'Este Parachute Association.
IAFA ran the activity as the sole coordinating and hosting organisation under its European Solidarity Corps volunteering project (2022 call, running 31 May 2022 – 29 September 2023), in which this group-volunteering mobility figured as "Activity 4".
